IPL 2010 AUCTION ENDED, POLLARD, BOND ATTRRACT BIG BIDS



West India's Kieron Adrian Pollard and New Zealand paceman Shane Bond are the major attraction of the Indian Premier League player auction. Pollard and Bond's purchases were decided by the newly introduced tiebreaker rule.

Pollard will join the Mumbai Indians team for a price of $750,000
Kolkata Knight Riders won Shane Bond for $750,000.
Here is the list of all players selected by the IPL franchises after the auction.
West Indies fast bowler Kemar Roach was purchased by Deccan Chargers for $7,20,000
Delhi Daredevils buy Warne Parnell (South Africa) for $610,000
Bangalore buys Eoin Morgan (England) for $220,000
Muhammed Kaif was sold in the 2nd round to Kings XI Punjab.

Justin Kemp retained by Chennai Kings for $100,000
Damien Martin sold to Rajasthan Royals for $100,000
Kings XI Punjab get back Yusuf Abdulla for $50,000
Sri Lankan All rounder, Thissara Perera bought by Chennai Super Kings for $50,000
Three U-19 Indian Players, Ashok Menaria, Harmeet Singh and Harshal Patel included in the auction.

Ashok Menaria went to Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Harmeet went to Deccan Chargers, Chennai.
Harshal went to Mumbai Indians.

No franchises expressed interest in players like Graeme Swann, Brad Haddin and Shahid Afridi
Shakib-ul-Hasan, Doug Bollinger, Sohail Tanvir, Kamran Akmal, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Chamara Silva, Tim Bresnan, Imran Nazir, Phillip Huges, Wavell Hinds, Lendl Simmons, Umar Akmal, Upul Thranga, and Jonathan Trott remained unsold.
