Finally India defeated the mighty South Africa in a World Cup Match!
After the recent miserable defeats against Australia and England in the tri series,all the burden is on the Indian bowling department. In the practice match against Afghanistan, Indian bowlers could not succeed to take the entire wickets of Afghan. Now the bowling department of India at its best in the World Cup with their remarkable performances against Pakistan and South Africa.
Even though Jadeja fails with the bat, he inspires the team with his more economic bowling spells. Dhawan's fearless innings of 137 (2 sixes, 16 fours) and the blitzkrieg of Rahane (79 runs from 60 balls, 7 fours and 3 sixes) helped India to achieve a comfortable total of 307 runs in the stipulated 50 overs. The knock of Faf du Plessis (55runs) and AB de Villiers (captain)[30 runs] resulted in vein.
India won their second match in a row by beating formidable foes South Africa.
Shikhar Dhawan is the Man of the Match for his 137.
