GAMBHIR, SACHIN & DRAVID HELPS INDIA IN THE FIRST TEST AGAINST NEW ZEALAND

Though the dashing Sehwag cheaply run out by scoring mere 24 runs, the three man show helped India to get a comfortable total in the second day of the first test against New Zealand. Gambhir, Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid never played rash shots. They batted with a lot of maturity and according to the situations.

Tendulkar is looking for his 42nd century in Tests. He is still there in the middle with 70 runs from 135 balls that include 11 fours. Gambhir's matured innings of 72 runs simply proves that he is now emerging as the recognised opener of both forms of the game. Dravid's classic style of batting is still exciting everybody. He scored 66 runs with 12 fours. Though Laxman could score only 30 runs but he succeeded to make a good partnership with Sachin.

Now every eyes are on Sachin and Yuvraj. If captain plays his natural game, India will gets around 150 runs lead in the first innings.
