Pakistan , the terrorist country of World, witnessed for the terrorist attack against the touring Sri Lankan Cricket Team. The team were attacked by unidentified gunmen at Gaddafi stadium in Lahore. Seven players of the Sri Lankan cricket team have been injured .Five policemen who were trying to shield the van carrying the cricketers have been killed in the encounter. Four of the Four of the cricket players namely Thilan Samaraweera, Kumar Sangakara, Ajanta Mendis and Tharanga Paranavithana are injured.
The gunfire is reported to have continued for 25 minutes. Two bombs were also thrown at the convoy and 12 gunmen were involved in this attack.
Sri Lanka's Sports minister Gamini Lokuge has confirmed Farbrace and Samaraweera were hospitalised while the others have been discharged. "Mahela and the other three received very minor injuries and they have already reached their hotel," Lokuge said
Pakistan, should be eliminated from all sports activities in respect of these kind of terrorist activities against innocent sports personalities. The future of Pakistan Cricket in a dilemma now. Let’s pray for Sri Lankan Cricket Team.
