A decision which disappoints all Indian Cricket fans came today from ICC. Gambhir's appeal against ban is rejected by Justice Albie Sachs, appeals commissioner. However BCCI has rejected the decision in a strong letter to the ICC.
The opening attacking batsman, Gambhir could not play the fourth test against Australia which is to be held in the 6 th of November at Nagpur.
Australians are the masters of sledging. But they always escape with small fines whereas Indians are always crucified by the discriminative ICC panels. The same is repeated in the case of Gambhir also. Shane Watson has the good boy image now, and all the provocations made by him are very gentle in the attitude of ICC.
Any way Murali Vijay, Tami Nadu Opener is selected as the replacement for Gambhir. The decision of BCCI is also a surprise one. He was picked ahead of former Tests openers in Wasim Jaffer, Aakash Chopra and Dinesh Karthik and he has batting average
47.03. The 24 year old opening batsman may fulfill the dreams of our nation in the crucial match between the mighty Australians.
