GAMBHIR HITS CENTURY, INDIA IN GOOD POSITION

Finally Gautham Gambhir made his century in Mohali in the second Test against England. The inform batsman completed his 4 th century in tests from 216 balls with 11 fours and one six.

Earlier in the day India won the toss and decided to bat first. India suffered a huge blow as the man of the match of the previous teat went for a deck. Stuart Broad claimed the wicket of sehwag. Then Gambhir and Rahul Dravid begin their recovery work. Though the overall run rate is disappointing, Dravid regains his form and completed his half century.

The partnership between Dravid and Gambhir added 165 runs and Dravid remains not out on 63. Now let's hope Gambhir will increse the run rate of India. The run rate of India now is very poor, ie only 2.52
