VERY VERY SPECIAL LAXMAN!

Why Laxman is called very very special? He is the toughest guy who plays his natural game when the situation demands more from him. This crisis management expert of Indian Cricket team guided India to a series-levelling win over Sri Lanka in the third Test held in Colombo.

Laxman struck an unbeaten 103(12 Fours), his 16th hundred in 116 Tests, to guide India to a memorable five-wicket victory over Sri Lanka. This is his second hundred against Sri Lanka, his first century in Sri Lanka and ninth in an overseas test. In the course of his match-winning century, VVS Laxman has completed his 4,000 runs in Asia.

Laxman has been adjudged the Man of the Match of this test match. This is his first Man of the Match award against Sri Lanka in Tests.

Here are the views of Dhoni about Laxman’s special innings!

"He (Laxman) proved today why he is called very very special. He always comes up with innings that have a huge bearing on the game. It was very important for him to score runs as the team needed it most to level the series. I think it is a very special innings. Hopefully, he plays plenty more innings like this for us."

HEARTY CONGRATULATIONS TO LAXMAN FOR THE SPARKLING CENTURY!
