ICC AWARDS DECLARED! SACHIN –ICC CRCIKETER OF THE YEAR, SEHWAG -TEST CRICKETER OF THE YEAR, INDIA- TEST TEAM OF THE YEAR

icc awards declared. India’s batting sensation Sachin Tendulkar named as the ICC Cricketer of the year 2010. However, he has not been considered for the ODI player of the year award even though he scored the only double century in ODI version. AB de Villiers is named the ODI cricketer of the year.

India bagged another top award when Virender Sehwag was named the Test cricketer of the year. During the 12-month voting period, he scored 1,282 runs(6 centuries, 4 half centuries) with an impressive average of 85.46 in the 10 Test matches. India is selected as test team of the year and Australia is selected as the ODI team of the year.

Steven Finn, fast bowler from England, has won the ICC Emerging Player of the Year award.Brendon McCullum won the award for Best T20 performance of the year. Aleem Dar from Pakistan won the award for Umpire of the year.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni was named the captain of the Test team of the year while Ponting was named the skipper of the ODI team of the year.
