KOHLI HIT CENTURY; INDIA BEAT WEST INDIES BY FIVE WICKETS IN THE SECOND ODI AT VIZAG.


Virat Kohli hit powerful 117 and Rohit Sharma was unbeaten on 90, to guide India to a 5-wicket win over West Indies to lead the series 2-0. Rampaul's all-round show (86 not out and 2/62) was not enough to rescue West Indies from the second defeat in the series. This is 11th consecutive win for India at home.

After winning the toss Indian captain Sehwag decided to field first. West Indies lost 8 wickets in 30.5 overs. At that time their score was only 149. Ravi Rampaul smashed 86 not out off 66 balls and made an unbroken 99-run stand with Kemar Roach which helped Windies to achieve a comfortable score of 269/9. Rampaul registered the highest ever score by a batsman batting at Number 10 in ODIs.Roach scored 24 runs. Lendl Simmons scored 78 runs.

Umesh Yadav took 3 wickets conceding just 38 runs in his 10 overs. Jadeja and Vinay Kumar took 2 wickets each.

Virat Kohli is the Man of the Match for his 8th Century and his 2nd at Vizag.
