Laxman Scores Double Century Against Australia in Delhi Test




"Form is temporary but class is permanent." The slogan is apt for the king of test cricket and the nightmare of Australians. V.V.S finally got his rhythm back in the third test in Delhi. He scored brilliant unbeaten double hundred against the mighty Australians and became a part of the record 4 th wicket partnership of this ground with Goutham Gambhir. He scored 200 runs from 301 balls which include 22 fours. After scoring his second double hundred against Australians, Captain Kumble opted for the declaration.

Laxman completes 2000 runs against Australia in Tests and averages above 50 against the no 1 team in the world.
